| It is the smiling, joyous cowgirl at the
heart of each of Donna Howell-Sickles' creations that draws
our attention. Each figure is full of life, with her hat in
hand, often riding horses or the back of bulls. She sits amid
the company of a vast menagerie of wonderfully rendered animals,
often a canine companion. It is then we realize that we have
been caught in the web of a master storyteller, Donna Howell-Sickles.
